Venice, Italy work in progress

I haven’t had a lot of time today to paint, but I did have fun when I had the time. It is starting to look better now that I have a few details in the painting. I worked on the wood poles and the boats in the background.

I also set up a still life for another painting that I am going to be doing soon. I worked on that last night as well. But I didn’t like any of them last night. Today, though, I think I might have one I like a little better. We will see after I look at it for a while and decide. I am going to be taking a watercolor class with Jane Freeman next month and I want to have a good still life to paint.
