Grant writing, essential oils and pictures with a horse

How does that sound for a day’s work? That is exactly what I have done today. I spent most of my day trying my best to work on a grant. I know I am not the best writer around, but I sure try hard anyway! Then I went to a meeting and learned much new info about essential oils. Of course I bought some so I could try it. I am really hoping for good results here. And when I was done with that, I went to a book signing. Don Houseman is an author and illustrator of Children’s books. I have a copy of one and am looking forward to getting my next one. I also have his color book. Or I should say that my son, Sam has his color book. Very nice. Don draws and paints pictures of old barns and farm animals. I also got my picture taken with his horse, Harvey! Such an exciting day!!

Me and my horse, Harvey!

This was just too much fun. How could anyone resist such a wonderful horse?
